Career To Date

1989 - 1991 Larrousse

In 1989, Bernard entered F1, driving for Larrousse at the French and British Grands Prix. He continued to drive for the team through the 1990 and 1991 seasons, until he suffered severe ankle injuries at the 1991 Japanese Grand Prix.

1993 - 1994 Ligier

In 1993, Bernard returned to F1 as a test driver for Ligier. In 1994, he was back driving in races and even managed a podium finish (3rd) at Hockenheim.

1994 Lotus

Bernard will drive for Lotus in the 1994 European Grand Prix.
